But This one was tedious TBH the 1080p version especially 😉
The source was huge 25GB i guess
and it was so damn grainy , first encode came out to be around 9GB :O
had to filter it then re encoded again .. added a sample too for all to have a see at the quality..
I remember i used to work this hard on a rip may be 10 years back when R5, R2 and TC (not TS) rips were the rage ;), those sources used to a lot of bad chrome luma levels , interlaced and god knows what else.
This rip was altogether a different ball game., 4 hrs plus size, fuzzy, grains, so was pretty difficult.
Hope you and all the gfuys will appreciate and like the result and effort.

yeah i just downloaded the sample and yes its better than the 720 version i downloaded. the scene was a outdoor scene so brightness was great and it looked less grainy in the daylight. i just prefer the x264 version bcz of my processor otherwise i would download the hevc version for all movies. i would like it if u can increase the bitrate for 720p movies in x264 as well
I want to but anything more than 1200 might not be acceptable to a lot of people asit wont be SMALL IN SIZE 🙁
I would ideally like to use constant rate factor instead of a fixed bitrate.
If all agree on the variable sizes and higher than normal bitrate , I am more than ready TBH.
the scripts/settings everything is already in place , all I need to do is either pump the bitrate up a bit more , may be around 1500 or straight away let the encoder decide a decent bitrate within the specified parameters based on the merits of video footage…
