“The Hounds of Baskerville” is the second episode of the second series of the BBC television series Sherlock. It was written by Mark Gatiss and stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock Holmes, Martin Freeman as Dr John Watson, and Russell Tovey as Henry Knight. Tovey is best known for playing the role of a werewolf in the BBC drama Being Human.[1] Clive Mantle who plays Dr Frankland, is known for his role as surgeon Mike Barrett in the TV series Casualty and later Holby City.
Based on The Hound of the Baskervilles, by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the episode investigates the strange activities at a military base. Gatiss intended to follow elements of the horror genre and make the episode scary.
