This movie really made me sweat. Having some experience in climbing myself watching these girls climb up that rusty and totally insecure radio tower almost made me cry out: drop that stupid idea, don’t go up there, catastrophe awaits!
Well, when I had seen the trailer my only thought had been: such as simple scenario, how can they make a movie about this? Isn’t it going to be boring? Actually it isn’t. When those girls get up that tower we are getting up there with them – although we perfectly know it’s a baaad idea. Some shots really made me feel vertigo.
If you can relate to such a dangerous situation and are not too fond of heights, you can absolutely enjoy this thriller and even feel the horror. But beware: you are recommended to switch off your brains first. Because the script is filled with errors in logic (as are so many of today’s films). When you don’t think too much about it and watch more on an emotional level, you may enjoy the movie and a few of its twists.
Although the movie introduces our protagonists as bad ass extreme pro climbers, their behavior speaks a different language: they are unconcentrated, reckless and irresponsible – and we all know that this kind of climbers don’t live very long, right? Well, see for yourselves and climb up that tower with them … 😉
