This is a great addition to the Star Wars Universe! The script delivers serious storytelling. The characters are well developed. The history of the rebellion unfolds in a convincing way. This is not about big space battles in rapid fire mode. This is about politics, suppression, the fight for freedom an what it does to people. I particularly like that morale is somewhat ambiguous here. So we are not given an oversimplified fairy tale, but serious storytelling. And this comes with mostly great visuals. The effects are surprisingly good (after too many cheap CGI, bluebox and volume shots that have been part of many recent film projects). Scenes taking part in a forest environment have actually been filmed in the woods! Can you imagine that!? 😉
I think this is a must-see for every Sar Wars afficionado. And I suggest watching it all in one session (or max three sessions), because the story unfolds in slow pace and it is important to dive into the feel of the series and keep track with the drama and the characters.

yes , I was losing interest in Star Wars since last couple of Tv series , as they were getting repetitive, but Andor was surprisingly good, they relied on proper story telling from a fresh perspective , andf developing the lead protagonist bit by bit as it should be …
